We initiated the adoption of 115 villages under a project titled HAPPY VILLAGE rotary international launched by Honourable President of India Mr.Pranab Mukherjee
Our MD with Past President of India Dr APJ Abdul Kalam who was highly inspired by the project HAPPY VILLAGE and shared his valuable inputs.
Holistic development of 115 villages adopted by 115 Rotary Clubs touching 1,00,000 lives with a total project cost of Rupees 17.5 Crores in one year.Construction of houses and toilets, renovation of schools, provision of furniture, health camps, empowerment of women, supporting to make a living by donating cows, educational assistance, maternal care, providing clean water, installing borewells and RO plants, etc are highlights of the well acclaimed Happy Village project.
